Sprinkler on a hot 90 degree April day

Can you believe it hit 90 IN APRIL!! Yes, it did, so we went and visited Erica and Christian. Audrey and Christian loved playing outside in the sprinkler. Christian found a worm and picked it up, but I don't have the picture to prove it (he then flung it at Erica!). It was a nice and relaxing day.

What to do when DC is crowded

So, the other Friday we decided to head down to DC and go to the zoo. Wow, a real sunny, warm day and everyone else wanted to go too! By the time we got down there, the place was packed with no place to park. So we decided to head home, have a picnic lunch in the back yard, then go to a nearby park to check out the water and playground.

To top off our fun day, we went to Chuck E Cheeses for dinner - Audrey loved to ride the horse, as Kelsey steered and check out that hand action while driving!



































































Then we went home and played the new Wii. Aaron loved beating Jessie in boxing. I tried to beat Kelsey in it, but failed miserably. Audrey "tried" with the nunchuck (ok, I have no idea how to spell it).

A night of reading with Grandma, Poppop, and Uncle Kevin! She enjoyed being read to, as always.

Happy Easter!

On Easter we had a huge gathering! It was a mix of the McQueens, Toths, and Bruners. It was a little chilly, but Audrey's dress was lovely (thank you Nana!) and it looked pretty outside!

Today it is very warm out!! I'm so excited. I've planted some seeds for new flowers all over my little gardens. And, Audrey got a new dress, so I had to take some pictures on such a lovely day! Happy Palm Sunday - Hosanna in the Highest!!
