Our Kitchen

Here it is! What we've been doing since January...our kitchen. The cabinets were the longest task - sanding, priming, paining many coats. The other week we did the countertops (thanks Chris and Rod!). This week we did lighting and painted the ceiling. Now we just have to paint walls (pale green) and put in the laminate flooring (same as foyer). Oh, and one day buy a dishwasher. Right now it's me. Yay!

Family Dinner

Nana came for a week last this past week and we had many dinners with her either out or at Grammy's since we are still working on our kitchen. Although, by this past Thursday things are moving faster and we can actually cook! One night the family got together and went out to dinner, then we came back to our place to show off our handy work and have dessert. Nana and Kelsey were intrigued with Audrey's laptop. But, she can already point out letters - if you say any letter (like where is an "h") she'll find it! We're really working with her. My goal this summer is to spend some time at the pool daily :) and set some time out each day for some preschool work! Thanks Kim for being my inspiration.

Fine Arts

Yeah Kim, is it March already! My how the months have flown. Well, here's my monthly update. We've been keeping busy updating our kitchen (pics to come) and I think that's made time fly. But, at the beginning of the month we went to the district's Fine Arts Festival. We saw our youth do an awesome job and Audrey had a blast dancing and "singing" along with people. She's been inspired. There was a water fountain in front of the church and it was a superbly warm day - a good time for a pic. Then on our way home I couldn't think fast enough (left or right! east or west!) and we stayed on a road that took us straight into Baltimore. Since it was a nice day, we decided to park and eat downtown. It was a nice outing. Sadly, it was the night we lost an hour. Ah well.
